Three students doing undergraduate research in physics present at the NCUR Conference

The 31st Annual National Conference on Undergraduate Research was held April 6-8, 2017 at the University of Memphis. Physics major, Byron Fritch (faculty advisor Tim Kidd) presented TIO2 COATED NANOCELLULOSE AEROGEL CATALYST; physics major Sebastian Ye (faculty advisor Rui iHe) presented INTERLAYER PHONONS IN RES2 AND NBSE2 ATOMIC LAYERS; and chemistry major Juliana Herran (faculty advisor Pavel Lukashev) presented EFFECTS OF PRESSURE AND STRAIN ON SPIN POLARIZATION OF IRMNSB.
